Countryside Lover Joins Kelling Heath’s Team

Sarah Nichols has been appointed as Countryside Events Co-ordinator at Kelling HeathSarah Nichols has been appointed Countryside Event Co-ordinator at Kelling Heath Holiday Park, North Norfolk.

Sarah, who has an HND Countryside Management from Easton College and has also worked as a volunteer at RSPB Strumpshaw Fen will be responsible for assisting in the practical management of the estate together with booking and coordinating events and offering environmental and wild life guidance to guests.

This is the perfect job for Sarah who has spent many holidays at Kelling Heath since 1994.

She says: “Kelling Heath is very special and I wish to continue to help make Kelling Heath Holiday Park a memorable, remarkable place. I feel strongly about conservation and how we are only now halting the damage we have done in the past - it is for the next generation to continue and reverse the process and here at Kelling we have a perfect opportunity to encourage children and adults to appreciate the countryside and the animals and plants that depend on it.”

She adds: “Kelling Heath Holiday Park offers a safe environment where children can allow themselves to be children, use their imaginations, stimulate their senses without the use of electronic games - using their natural instinct of enquiry to appreciate their wider environment and hopefully some children will go on and want to protect it.”
