Nick Johnson has been  selected from over 150 employees of Norfolk based Blue Sky Leisure to be awarded the title ‘Superhero’ of the year, 2008 for his dedication and service to guests at Kelling Heath Holiday Park in north Norfolk. The awards are held annually by Blue Sky Leisure, which owns Kelling Heath Holiday Park, Woodhill Holiday Park, Blue Sky Homes and ZAKS Fine American Restaurants.

Nick, 49, has worked in the maintenance team at Kelling Heath for four years and was surprised and delighted to receive the award.

“It came as a real shock to receive the award as I just see myself as doing my job. I love working here at Kelling Heath and if a guest ever has a problem while staying with us then I will always do my best to help out” Says Nick.

Chief Executive Officer Ian Hacon says: “He was selected for the Blue Sky Leisure Superhero Award thanks to the sterling service he provides to guests that regularly see him answering maintenance calls out of hours and helping guests with any technical related problems, he remains polite and friendly whatever time of night he is called. What makes the award extra special is that our Superhero awards scheme is owned and managed entirely by our team members.”

Chief Executive Officer Ian Hacon and park manager, Mark Durrant presented the top award.
Mark Durrant says:  “Nick is a great ambassador for Kelling Heath and a worthy winner of this award thanks to his hard work and commitment to guest satisfaction.

“Blue Sky Leisure is passionate about providing outstanding customer care, a discipline that sits at the very heart of our vision statement.
